Louisville Volleyball is scheduled to host the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship on December 19th and 21st at KFC Yum! The center begins the season Sept. 1 against visiting Tennessee.
The Cardinals have one of their toughest schedules, slated to play 13 teams that played in the 2023 NCAA Tournament (including three regional finalists) and 11 teams that finished the season ranked in the top 25. .
The Volunteers finished ninth nationally last season and advanced to the NCAA regional semifinals. The Cardinals are scheduled to visit Penn State on September 3rd. The Nittany Lions finished 12th last season and advanced to the regional semifinals.
Other highlights include the annual Battle for the Bluegrass against host Kentucky on Sept. 18 and the national runner-up contest at Yum on Sept. 21 or 22. That includes a game against Nebraska. center.
The Cardinals' ACC schedule includes new members California (September 27) and Stanford (September 29) on Yum! center. On Oct. 25, they will face Pittsburgh, which ended the Cardinals' season, in the 2023 regional final.

Bethlehem women's basketball players to watch Leah Macy, a junior, recently committed to play college basketball at the University of Notre Dame. Macy averaged a team-high 25 points and 13.8 rebounds per game. She missed 10 games last season due to injury. Her Banshees' season ended with a Sweet 16 loss to eventual state champion Sacred Heart.
High School Recruiter: Louisville native Kayden Magwood receives offer from Georgia U of L
junior Kaden MagwoodThe former Western star and current Oak Hill standout recently received an offer from Louisville. He also announced offers from Georgia State and Ole Miss. The former KHSAA star's stock rose during his junior year, which included an AAU season. He averages 24.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for Team Loaded VA on the adidas circuit.
