Kelly Kay is celebrating a special milestone in the life of her baby boy.
The girlfriend of her late college football player boyfriend Spencer Webb celebrated her son Spider's first birthday over Easter weekend with a fun party.
Kaye shared highlights from the festival on her Instagram Story on Saturday.
Fittingly, the little boy's party was spider-themed, with black and white decorations, iced sugar cookies detailed with spider and web motifs, and even printed snapshots of the spider's first year of life. It even had a large mesh web display featuring .
One image posted by Kaye showed the toddler and another young partygoer having fun in a ball pit. And judging by another photo she shared, it looks like the birthday boy needed a little snooze to recharge during the celebration. Her mother captioned a photo of herself lying next to Spider as he slept with a blanket and a pacifier: “Party napping.”
Kaye also reshared a friend's post featuring a collage of Spider photos, captioning it: “My little Spider-Man is already a year old.”

Just a week before Kay learned of her pregnancy, Webb died at the age of 22 in a rockfall accident. Kay, who was at the scene of her accident, told PEOPLE in April that her boyfriend “died in my arms.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Kaye was already calling her baby “Baby Spider.”
“I talked about it with his best friends and we didn’t want to name him Spencer Jr. because Spencer is Spencer and we believe that’s his name. And I don't want to take that away from him,” she explains. “I think it's a big deal for me to call him Spencer, so I thought I'd call him Spider. That's a terrible name. It was his father's nickname, and I still pay homage to him. I did.”
She also said she plans to keep Webb's memory alive as long as possible.
“There are pictures all over the house. There's a lot of memorabilia. And as he grows up, he always grows up knowing who his father is.”
“I want to send him to Oregon and I know he's going to be D1. He's already non-stop,” Kaye said with a laugh. “We are both very athletic people. [I hope to] I want him to go into football and follow in Spencer's footsteps as much as possible. ”
“His son and I are starting a new life with some trials and tribulations, but we look forward to living with Spencer's strength and guidance to make him proud.”
