Kelly, who just played his first season at Syracuse, is pursuing a master's in exercise science after earning a bachelor's in natural sciences from Saint Anselm College. Urias, who joined the Orange after spending four years on the Syracuse University rowing team, is earning a bachelor's in sports management and is pursuing a master's in project management from the School of Professional Studies.
graduate student Mariel McHaleHe is currently working on his master's degree in higher education and was a six-time selection to the AHA All-Academic Team as a senior. Campbell Beacom (Sports Management Major) Sarah Thompson (Sports Management) Amelia Van Vliet (Double Major in Psychology and Forensic Science) Tatum White (Medicinal Chemistry), earned the honor for the fourth time in his career. Alexandria Weiss (Master’s in Sports Venues and Events Management) will be the fifth recipient, having been honored four times at Mercyhurst University and last season at Syracuse University.
Senior Leila Clemons (Medicinal Chemistry) and Junior Erin Brousseau (International Relations, Policy Studies, and Applied Data Analysis triple major) is a three-time recipient, and sophomore Gabby Doherty (Sports Analysis), Charlotte Hallett (Forensic Science and Arts and Sciences double major) and Mikayla Todd (Human Development and Family Sciences) have earned this honor for the second consecutive year. Kate Holmes (Sports Analysis), Kelly, Kylie Langefels (Project Management MPS), Rachel Teslak (Master of Legal Sciences), Urias, 2nd year student Heidi Knoll (Sports Management) and Freshman Nea Tervonen (Sports Management) Haley Trudeau (Sports Analytics) is the first recipient of the award.
