Former Lindenwood men's hockey player Kabore Dan Dunn signed with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL. Dunn joins former Lions Andy Willis, Ryan Finnegan, and Kyle Jeffers These players signed with the ECHL after finishing their playing careers at Lindenwood.
The Grizzlies are a AA minor league hockey team affiliated with the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and the AHL's Colorado Eagles. The Grizzlies play in the ECHL's Mountain Division and enter the 2023-24 season fifth in their division with 67 points and will enter their 30th season this fall.
Dunn tallied the same number of points with 11 assists while guarding the Lions' blue line in 2023-24. In his two years at Lindenwood, he recorded two goals and 17 assists for 19 points.

The ECHL began with five teams in four states in 1988-89 and has grown into a national league with 29 teams in 22 states and one Canadian province for the 37th season in 2024-25. More than 700 players have gone on to play in the National Hockey League after starting their careers in the ECHL.
