England fast bowler Josh Tan is likely to miss much of the summer after suffering a chest injury.
The 26-year-old made his Test debut last summer but has been out of action since August, missing England's white-ball tour of the Caribbean and the Test series in India.
England will face West Indies and Sri Lanka in July, August and September this year. sky sports.
An ECB spokesperson said: “Josh (tongue) is regressing from his original injury (pectoral muscle injury). A timetable for his return is yet to be determined.''
Tan's injury comes as part of England's life plans after Jimmy Anderson, who announced his retirement in early May.
The Nottinghamshire seamer made his England debut against Ireland in 2023 and took 10 wickets in two matches.
When will England's matches be played this summer?
England have four T20 matches scheduled at home against Pakistan, starting at Headingley on May 22nd, followed by Edgbaston (May 25th), Cardiff (May 28th) and The Oval (May 30th). The series will continue till now and serve as preparation for the T20 World Cup. next month.
Their title defense will take place on June 4th in Barbados against Scotland and on June 8th against Australia at the same venue. They will then face Oman in Antigua on June 13th and Namibia in the same venue two days later for the top two in their group. He then moves on to the Super 8, and the tournament runs through his June 29th.
