“This is a well-deserved and earned honor,” DeSorbo said. “Even before Jake returned to the Foos family, he demonstrated leadership qualities that merited this type of recognition. There were several reasons why I hired him two years ago. Number one, he's a great coach and number two, he's a great guy to be around. I've been looking for that combination with the whole staff and he's lived up to that expectation the past two. Jake has been a huge part of our program's success over the years and will continue to strive to be even better as he serves on the Pan Am Team USA staff this fall and continues to make us all better. I'm glad you're doing well.”

“I'm very grateful to Todd for hiring me two years ago and continuing to give me the opportunity to coach here,” Schramm said. “I studied swimming and coaching in Charlottesville. JJ BeanThe University of Virginia taught me the value of swimming beyond the sport. mark bernardino. It is truly special for me to continue coaching at my alma mater in my hometown with such an amazing coaching staff and special student-athletes. I can't imagine being anywhere else. ”
