Dubai: India will play Bangladesh in a pre-season T20 World Cup match in the United States on June 1, the International Cricket Council announced on Friday.
The venue and time for the India match are yet to be announced.
According to the ICC, 17 of the 20 teams will play warm-up matches between May 27 and June 1 in the United States and Trinidad and Tobago.
The South African national team will play a Red and White match in Florida on May 29th.
Defending champions England, defending runners-up Pakistan and semi-finalists New Zealand will not play warm-up matches. England will host Pakistan in a four-match bilateral series starting May 22.
New Zealand, who toured Pakistan for a five-match T20I series, will immediately begin their match against Afghanistan on June 8.
Venues hosting 16 warm-up matches include Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago, and the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. It will be done.
Warm-up matches do not have T20I status and teams can field all 15-player squad members. Unlike previous cycles, teams can now choose to play up to two warm-up matches, depending on their arrival at the event.
The West Indies vs Australia match at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago on May 30 will be open to fans.
