In NCAA Division I-II men's volleyball on Friday, BYU and Pepperdine upset MPSF and Lindenwood upset MIVA.
In the Professional Volleyball Federation, San Diego won the first set and won the first match in franchise history.
MPSF has three games, with USC hosting No. 2 Grand Canyon, BYU hosting UCLA, and Pepperdine hosting Stanford.
Two Big West teams will play out of conference as CSUN entertains Lewis of MIVA and UC Irvine takes on Concordia Irvine of MPSF.
MIVA's slate shows Ohio State returning to Queen's, Loyola Chicago to Lindenwood and McKendree returning to Purdue-Fort Wayne.

Two SIAC teams will meet when Edward Waters hosts Talladega and Kentucky State hosts independent Maryville.
