About us:
Matt Pollard is the editor of Last Word on Soccer and an engineer by day. The Colorado native began covering the Colorado Rapids in 2016 as a certified reporter, but he hasn't been watching MLS since 1996. When I'm not watching soccer or writing, I'm enjoying the outdoors (mostly skiing and hiking) or trying out new beers in our beautiful state. For some reason, he thought it would be a good idea to start a podcast with Mark, but he doesn't know how to stop this madness. He is also the host of his Last Word SC Radio.
Mark Goodman, formally known as the artist rapids rabbiSoon after, he went to Dick's Sporting Goods Park and watched Li Nguyen dribble a ball as smooth as liquid chocolate cascading down a bar mitzvah fountain, and instantly fell in love with domestic soccer. When he's not watching soccer or coaching his son's U-8 team, he's usually studying the Talmud or medieval Bible exegesis. Perhaps this explains why he watches so much MLS. He relocated to Pittsburgh in 2017, and on “Pittsburgh Soccer Now,” he covers his Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the USL.
