“College Football 25” will have the most important award in all of college sports:
The Heisman Trophy.
Fans eagerly waiting for the first college football game in eleven years were hit with some disappointing news when it was announced the National College Football Awards Association declined to opt into the game.
That means popular awards like the Maxwell Award and Biletnikoff will not be in the game. Naturally, fans immediately began wondering whether or not the Heisman Trophy Trust would also opt out of the game.
Well, that’s simply not the case.

“College Football 25'' will feature the Heisman Trophy.
While the National College Football Awards Association has no interest in attending the game, the Heisman Trophy Trust has made the exact opposite decision.
On Friday afternoon, it was announced that the Heisman Trophy would be in the game. Please let us know if you think this call is correct. David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
As it turns out, this actually *needs*Participate in the game. It would certainly have been nice to win all the other awards like in the old games.
However, while it would certainly have been nice to win the Biletnikov Prize and the Maxwell Prize, it is by no means necessary. The same thinking doesn't apply to the Heisman. It needs to be part of the game, and it always will be.
There's nothing like cruising through an entire dynasty season wondering if your star QB or RB did well enough to be a Heisman candidate. The highest of highs. The worst of the worst.
