The University of Hawaii football program has always placed a premium on homegrown player development and Hawaiian identity, and the program hopes to continue that trend with the 2025 recruiting class.
The Warriors already have two players in the Class of 2025, both from Hawaii, and six recruits from the state are scheduled to take official visits to campus this week (May 30-June 2).

Titan Lacadien, a wide receiver from St. Louis High School (Honolulu), has already committed to the University of Hawaii and will be part of the study abroad group.
Max Fonoimoana, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound linebacker who is the No. 3 overall player in the state of Hawaii according to 247Sports, is scheduled to visit this weekend. Kaimana Carvalho, the No. 5 overall player in the state, was also in the group, as was fellow linebacker Zaden Maritelagi, the No. 15 overall player. The three are teammates at Kahuku High School in north Oahu. Carvalho and Fonoimoana are also scheduled to visit Utah at the same time in late June.
Another linebacker, Aisiah Paogoffee of Ewa Beach, will also be on the trip. Paogoffee is listed as the 22nd recruit in the state, standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 190 pounds.

The team also includes wide receiver Brandon Guyer, a Hawaii native who finished his high school career at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, which won the MaxPreps High School National Championship last season.
Hawaii will enter its third season under head coach Timmy Chang in 2024. Chang, a former Hawaii quarterback, has an 8-18 record as head coach.
