Truckee won both the boys and girls divisions Saturday at the Carson Aquatic Center, with the Green Wave boys placing fourth overall with 165 points. The 200-meter freestyle relay team of Cossman, Evelyn Lott, Joclyn Miller and Katelen Helton finished the meet in 1 minute, 57.81 seconds, qualifying for state with just 1.2 seconds left of a fourth-place finish. The same group swam the 200-meter medley relay and finished less than three seconds shy of fourth place. Last weekend at the Northern 3A Regional Tournament at Carson High School, Fallon finished eighth on the girls' team with 20 points and ninth on the boys' team with 38.5 points, earning three runners a spot in this week's state tournament.

Jessalyn Lewis and Bransyn Wright each qualified for the state tournament in two events, and Edwin Ugalde advanced in one event. The top four finishers qualify for state, which will be held Friday and Saturday at Carson High School.
