It is commonly known as breakdancing (although practitioners prefer “break”). This dance, which combines footwork, acrobatics, and hip-hop music, originated in New York City in the early '70s. The event was part of the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires and was voted by a wide margin to be included in the Summer Olympics.

Two solo events will be held in Paris, one for men and one for women, with 16 B-boys and B-girls participating. According to the Olympic website, competitors will be judged on “creativity, individuality, technique, diversity, performance and musicality.”
Breaking was scheduled to debut at the Tokyo Games, but it was postponed due to coronavirus health concerns. International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach said new sports such as surfing, skateboarding and breaking were being introduced to make the Olympics appealing to younger audiences.
kayak cross
The Olympics will add a new spin to kayak slalom, with athletes crossing rapids and passing through downstream and upstream gates in an attempt to achieve the fastest time.
In the men's and women's kayak cross, four paddlers race simultaneously in a full-contact race, avoiding each other and jockeying for position across the course as they strive for victory. Another obstacle, a kayak roll, will also be introduced, requiring athletes to “complete a 360-degree rotation that involves submerging your head underwater,” according to the Olympic website. According to the website, the athletes to watch include Jessica Fox, Joseph Clark, Anatole Delazas, Voytek Heger and Mallory Franklin.

kiteboarding
Kiteboarding is one of 10 sailing events scheduled to be featured at the Olympics. The first sailing competition at the Olympics dates back to his 1900 year.
Kiteboarders fly through the air on wind-propelled kites and glide across the water on boards attached to their feet. It can reach speeds of up to 74 km/h and fly nearly 6 meters into the air.
Forty men and women will race in different events at the Marseille Marina, where winds are expected to be constant. The opening game is scheduled for August 4th.
men's artistic swimming
While the women's event has been a staple for many years, the introduction of the men's contest is expected to be a unique spectacle in its own right.
Particularly acrobatic team events feature routines of lifts, throws, flips, and diving from the shoulders of teammates who tread water below. Since gymnastics is performed on water, there is a risk of concussion.
Marathon Race Walking Mixed Relay Olympics
The introduction of this competition will ensure gender equality in athletics for the first time. A mixed relay racewalk format will replace the 50km individual race, increasing medal chances for women. 25 teams will compete in a marathon distance (42.195 km) race held at the base of the Eiffel Tower. Each race consists of one man and one woman, who take turns completing four relay stages: men, women, men, and women.
