Four-time Michigan State champion Owen Stevens leaves Verbals for Louisville.

Stevens trains with West Michigan Swimmers all year and recently earned three best times at the TYR 18&U Spring Cup in Elkhart. He placed fifth in the 200 meters at the Indy Sectional in March and 22nd at the Junior East in December.

- 200 Free – 1:39.25
- Free 500 – 4:27.48
- 100 breasts – 56.53
- 200 back – 1:46.17
- 200IM – 1:49.44
- 400IM – 3:55.91
Stevens, who finished his senior year at Zeeland High School, won the Michigan DI state championships in the 200 IM and 500 free in 2023 and 2024. When he was a freshman, he placed 6th and 4th in those events, respectively.
Additionally, he was named to the Michigan Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association's “Dream Team” after posting the fastest 500 free time in all divisions in Michigan throughout the high school season.
