Lancashire Cricket Foundation has committed to offering a record 1,400 scholarship places to participants across the county this year as the registration period opens for the nationally popular children's cricket programmes, All Stars and Dynamos.
Now in its sixth year, the All Stars and Dynamos courses were introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board to introduce more children to the sport.
The program is hugely popular in Lancashire, with Red Rose Community Foundation working with over 200 club and center delivery partners across the county to promote the course, with over 20,000 children taking part since its introduction. doing.

In 2023, more than 5,600 children across Lancashire took part in All Stars and Dynamos programs, and around 1,200 young people from disadvantaged areas received scholarships.
All Stars Cricket offers a first experience for all children aged 5-8, with each one-hour session guaranteeing eight weeks of activity and skill development. This program is designed to introduce children to sports, teach them new skills, and help them make new friends.
Dynamos Cricket provides the next step for all those graduating from All Star Cricket and is the perfect introduction for all 8-11 year olds new to the sport. Dynamos is all about fun and provides a more social offer for children, with an emphasis on developing the fundamental skills needed to play cricket. Both All Stars and Dynamos Cricket are fully inclusive and designed to support a wide range of abilities, disabilities and different learning needs. For children who do not meet the scholarship criteria, the All Star Cricket program costs £30 for her eight-hour session, while the Dynamos program costs £40 for the same tuition fee.
