A former college quarterback has claimed that an Italian mob offered him hundreds of thousands of dollars to fix football games during his time at Vanderbilt University.
Mo Hasan, who was a backup quarterback for the Commodores in 2018 and 2019, said on a podcast that he was approached by a gang offering $300,000 to fix the Commodores' games.
“Almost every game in the SEC is match-fixed,” Hasan said after the sage approached the former college signal caller at Jason Aldean's Kitchen and Rooftown Bar in Nashville. he claimed.
The former brigadier general added that Alabama was one of the schools involved.

Comments were skeptical of Hasan, with one X user wondering if he was “really going to engineer the game” after throwing just 17 passes during his time at Vanderbilt.
Hasan's story also caught the attention of ESPN analyst and former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy.
“I've been told it's hard to organize games from the bench,” McElroy said Friday on the “McElroy & Cubelik in the Morning” podcast.
