Former Arizona Wildcats sophomore guard Kylan Boswell has committed to Illinois, he announced on his social media accounts on Sunday.
Boswell announced his intention to enter the transfer portal last week, and the Champaign, Illinois native plans to return home. Boswell is Brad Underwood and the Fighting Illini's third transfer this offseason, joining Mercer's Jake Davis and Louisville's Tre White.

Boswell spent the past two seasons in Tuscon after joining as a five-star recruit and early enrollee in the 2022-23 season.
Last year, he played in 36 games for the Wildcats (all but one start). He averaged 9.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 39.6 percent from the field and 37.9 percent from 3-point range. He led the Wildcats in steals and had the second-most assists per game.
In November, he shot 56% overall and 59% from behind, but over the next few months he shot 32%, 33%, 45%, and 35%. It plummeted.
Jaden Bradley will likely be the Wildcats' starting point guard after Boswell's departure, with rising sophomore Conrad Martinez a possible backup.
Bradley, a transfer from the University of Alabama, had 18 points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in Arizona's Sweet 16 loss to Clemson. He also came off the bench in the second round against Dayton, scoring 12 points. Boswell totaled five points on 1-of-9 field goals in both of those tournament games.
