After not losing a single player to the transfer route a season ago, Duke basketball lost seven players to the transfer portal this offseason. Jeremy Roach and Mark Mitchell have found new homes in recent weeks, deciding to move to Baylor and Missouri State, respectively. But the next destination for other former Blue Devils remains unclear.

That could change soon, with Blue Devil second-year Jaden Schutt making a list to visit a potential new field.
On Friday, 247 Sports' Travis Branham reported that the 6-foot-5 transfer guard, a former four-star recruit, completed a visit to Dayton and is now checking out Butler, Wisconsin, DePaul and ACC school Virginia Tech. It was reported that there are plans to do so.
Branham's post suggests that Schutt may have narrowed down his potential options and that the final destination of the sniper's mission is likely to be on the list above.
The 21-year-old Illinois native spent two seasons in Durham, playing little as a freshman and missing his entire sophomore season with an injury. Schutt played in 14 games as a freshman, averaging 2.1 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.4 assists while shooting 35.0 percent from deep.
Schutt was ranked No. 75 overall in the 247Sports 2022 Composite Rankings and came to Duke as a member of head coach John Scheyer's first recruiting team. They are a 7th tier team ranked No. 1 in the nation.
Jaden Schutt, who redshirted last season, will have three years of eligibility remaining, regardless of which program he decides to join.
The Duke University basketball team still has four other outbound transfers who are currently uncommitted, including freshman forwards TJ Power and Sean Stewart, sophomore center Christian Reeves and junior guard Including Jalen Blakes.
