columbus ohio – Bemidji State University Women’s Hockey Freshman Olivia Dronen In the first game of the Western University Hockey Association Playoffs opening series held in Columbus, Ohio, the Beavers scored in two consecutive games, but lost 10-1 to No. 1 Ohio State University.
After the Buckeyes (30-3-0) scored the first three goals, Dronen scored his second career goal on a sea-eye shot off the boards at 4:27 of the second period.

new student Eva Filippova Started the game as a junior, played the first two periods and stopped 30 shots. abby thompson He played the final period and repelled 22 of the 25 shots he faced in the period.
The Beavers will look to extend their season tomorrow afternoon with Game 2 of the best-of-three series scheduled for 2:00 PM CT.
