Dothan's girls soccer and boys soccer teams were eliminated Friday night at Oak Mountain, which was the first portion of the Birmingham game between the two clubs.
The Dothan girls lost 1-0 when Oak Mountain scored on a penalty kick with five minutes remaining.
For Dothan, Moriah Hogans made eight saves in the first half and Brianna Cruz made five saves in the second half. Irma Montiel, Ava Bell, Maggie Benton, Claudia Morgan and Brenna Pfister had strong defensive performances.
The Dothan boys lost 4-0 to undefeated Oak Mountain (15-0-1), which is ranked No. 2 nationally by MaxPreps.
Blake Rouse made 14 saves for Dothan.
The team will play in Hoover on Saturday morning, completing a two-day trip.
