The penultimate night of the Canada 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games finals begins. It's been a long race, but there are still many great races to come. She went at a personal best pace for most of the race, with splits of 27.43/31.16 in her first 100 seconds. The split was 32.65. She split the third 50 and the final 50 with a 33.09.

On his way to winning the world title in Doha, finlay knox He did well in the freestyle leg, outpacing other competitors in the field. His freestyle legs were still strong in this championship final, but he was already well separated from the field.
Knox wasted no time in proving his authority in this race. He took the lead with a butterfly leg of 24.52, establishing a lead that was below his own Canadian record pace. From there, he never looked back, extending his lead in the backstroke with a time of 29.24 seconds. Knox returned home with a time of 33.81/28.50, breaking the Canadian record with a time of 1:56.07. He beat the record set at this year's World Championships by 0.57 seconds and qualified for his first individual event in Paris.

Yuri Kishir He caught up in the final stages of the race and took second place with a time of 22.01 seconds. Although it was outside the Olympic qualifying time range, it was a personal record by 0.01 seconds for Kishir, who was competing in the competition for the first time since 2018.
