Over the past three weeks, Cricket NSW has been privileged to connect with local cricket communities across the state through the CNSW Country Roadshow.
The Roadshow is designed to provide an opportunity for great collaboration between local communities and Cricket NSW and this year's agenda is focused on listening to community feedback, understanding what is working well and identifying areas where additional support is needed.
Roadshows are at the heart of the calendar, with Cricket NSW CEO Lee Garmon attending many of these events, along with Chief Community Cricket Officer Martin Gleeson and supporting local community cricket teams, including competition coordinators and cricket managers. I am receiving
The agenda includes an update on the state of play within the NSW cricket community, as well as several new initiatives, including building a volunteer action plan and supporting clubs and associations to begin registering.
The most important section of these workshops are the volunteer discussion groups that have been held so far. This provides an opportunity for the local community to provide feedback and ideas that will help grow the game of cricket and ultimately support future volunteers and the community. season.
Cricket NSW welcomes the feedback provided and looks forward to using this information to tailor support and collaboration opportunities for next season.
