Andrew Strauss is one of the brains behind a new padel tournament designed to capitalize on the sport's growing popularity.
The former England cricket captain will compete against fellow sports stars Michael Vaughan, Andriy Shevchenko and Brian Habana at the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic at London's Hurlingham Club in May this year. .
Padel is a double racket sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, and is the fastest growing sport in the world, with big fans of celebrities such as David Beckham, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Sylvain Wiltord and Neymar.
