Magassa joined the Cowgirls program after spending the past two seasons at Rhode Island. The Morsaint-sur-Orge, France native was named a preseason Atlantic 10 All-Conference third-team member ahead of her junior and senior campaigns.
Magassa, a 6-6 center, appeared in 28 games last year, starting 12 of them. She averaged 7.0 points and 4.6 rebounds on the year, blocked a team-high 58 shots, and helped the Rams win 21 games.
In the 2022-23 season, Magassa averaged 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds for a Rams team that posted a 26-7 record and advanced to the third round of the WNIT.
During the 2021-22 season, she recorded three double-doubles and helped the Flyers improve to a 26-6 season. That year, Magassa averaged 5.9 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. She had a season-best 14 rebounds in the Flyers' NCAA game against DePaul.
Magassa was named the Atlantic 10 Sixth Woman of the Year for the 2020-21 season and also earned a spot on the All-Rookie team following her freshman campaign. She played in all 19 games for the team, starting and averaging 9.6 points and a team-best 7.3 rebounds per game. Additionally, her 18 rebounds against St. Louis were the most by a freshman in a single game in program history.
Magassa left Dayton with 113 blocked shots, which ranks fifth in program history.
She played in 93 games during her career, averaging 6.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Magassa achieved her 190 blocks and her sixth career double-double, contributing to her team's total record of 87 wins and 32 losses.
A graduate of Jean Moulin High School in France, Magassa excelled as a four-year varsity player. She was the third top scorer on the France U18 team that won the bronze medal at the 2019 European Championships. She participated in the 2017 U16 European Championships and led France to a bronze medal.
