There is movement regarding Mark Pope's first Kentucky Wildcats coaching staff.
According to KSR's Matt Jones, Cody Fueger will follow Pope to Kentucky after serving as an assistant coach with the BYU Cougars from 2019 to 2024.
Mr. Fuger will be the first person confirmed as a member of the pope's staff.
Former BYU coach Cody Fueger will be one of Mark Pope's three recruiting assistants and his first staff member.
He's still speaking to recruits today on behalf of Kentucky.

Fugar has coached with Pope since 2015, when he was the head coach at Utah Valley. The two coached there until Pope was hired as BYU's head coach in 2019, and Fegger has been in Provo ever since.
The Cougars ranked 14th in offensive efficiency by KenPom, and Fueger was considered one of the driving forces of BYU's offense last season. He is also a master of analysis, and Pope emphasized that he wants Kentucky to accept him.
Fugar was named the most influential mid-level assistant coach in Division I men's basketball by Silver Waves Media when BYU was still playing in the WAC (2022-23) and before moving to the Big 12 last season. was selected as one of the
Fueger previously served as director of basketball operations at BYU, Utah State University, University of California Riverside and Louisiana Tech University. His first coaching job was from 2002 to 2007 at the University of Utah where he worked as a video coordinator and student assistant.
