Stars from across the state of Texas were in full force for the first two days of the Longhorn Elite Invitational in Austin. The meet did not include new Longhorns swimming director Bob Bowman's training group, but the old guard from the University of Texas, SMU, the state's top high school swimmers, Rex MaurerAthletes who swam at Stanford last season but are training in Austin for trials were also in attendance.
