River Falls, Wisconsin–The University of Wisconsin-River Falls won the NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championship with a 2-1 victory over Gustavus Adolphus University (Minnesota) in the quarterfinals on March 9 at Hunt Arena. More than 1,700 fans packed into the UC River Falls women's ice hockey program.
University of Wisconsin-River Falls (29-0) will be making its sixth appearance in “Frozen 4” since 2016. The No. 1-ranked Falcons will host the NCAA semifinals and championship. The semi-finals will be held on March 15th at 3pm and 7pm, with the championship match taking place on March 17th at 3pm.
