BOCA RATON, Fla. (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The swimming ban in place at two beaches in Boca Raton has been lifted, according to the Florida Department of Health and the City of Boca Raton. This official announcement was shared on his BocaNewsNow.com.
“The Florida Department of Health Palm Beach County has conducted beach water quality sampling at Spanish River Beach and South Inlet Park Beach and has determined that the water quality is good and safe for swimming. Swimming is allowed.”
Two swimming holes were closed earlier this week after testing positive for high bacteria levels, and authorities issued the following recommendations:
The Palm Beach County, Florida Health Department has issued the following health advisories: South Inlet Park and Spanish River Beach Park. Recent sampling showed elevated levels of bacteria in the water. For the safety of residents and visitors, swimming is prohibited until further notice. However, parks and beaches will remain open. ”
Health officials regularly test water in swimming areas up and down the Palm Beach County coast.
