Nuwais set a best time of 1:01.03 about a week ago, ranking him 8th all-time in his age group. She ran her first 50 in 28.54 and came back in 31.69.
Nwaise is currently one of only eight girls in the 13-14 age group to have run under 1:01. alexis wenger Holds the NAG record of 1:00.02 at NCSA in Spring 2015. Wenger continued swimming at the University of Virginia.
Nuwais made great strides last year, with his season-best personal best of 1:05.51 during the 2023 spring leg in Carlsbad. She will play against the Irvine Novaquatics during the club season.
This winter, Nuwais swam a personal best time of 1:01.35 at the Winter Junior West meet to advance to the 'C' final. She also competed in the LCM 100 Breast Swimming Time Trial, clocking 1:12.49. Her Olympic qualifying time cut was 1:10.29.
Nuwais was the only swimmer from Orange County to win an event at the CIF Championships.She was also on vacation Teagan OdellIt broke the county record of 59.73 that Odell swam last season.
