The spring playoffs continued last week with several Bucks County area teams competing for district and Catholic League championships, plus the track and field season concluded with the PIAA Track and Field Championships.

Bucks County boys volleyball's top playoff performances:
Nathan Knapp, Pennsbury
The senior scored 18 points in the Falcons' 3-1 win over Pennridge in the District 1 Class 3A championship game, breaking the team's single-season points record of 345, set in 2010. He has 351 points by the time of the PIAA state tournament.
Evan Jarosinski, Pennridge
The setter dished out 46 assists in the Rams' 3-1 win over Unionville in the District 1 Class 3A semifinals and 25 assists in the Rams' loss to top-seeded Pennsbury in the finals.
Bryce Ammon, Pennridge
The junior was an offensive force in the Class 3A semifinals, recording 17 kills and eight digs in a win over Unionville, then added eight kills and eight digs in the final against Pennsbury.
Ciaran Shaw, Pennsbury
The setter dished out 30 assists to his teammates in Pennsbury's district championship win over Pennridge.
Lucas Ricciardi, Pennsbury
The third-year outside hitter recorded nine kills, eight digs, two aces and one block to help the Falcons beat Pennridge, 3-1, to win the district championship.

Bucks County girls lacrosse's top playoff performances:
Annalise Messina, Upper Moreland
Messina battled cramps in the heat of Tuesday's District 1 Class 2A quarterfinal but still recorded a game-high four goals, two assists, five draw controls and three turnovers in a 10-9 win over Strath Haven.
Addie Hurley, Upper Moreland
The Golden Bears goalie made 19 saves, all of which were crucial, as Upper Moreland beat Strathaven, 10-9, in the Class 2A quarterfinals. She also made 11 saves in a close semifinal game, but UM lost to Bishop Shanahan, 8-7.
Olivia Meakim, Upper Moreland
She scored three goals and assisted on three more in the Class 2A quarterfinal win over Strath Haven.
Ava Fantasky, Pennridge
She led the offense with five goals, but the Rams lost to No. 5 Downingtown West in a District 1 Class 3A playback game.
Next up: Pennridge They face Garnet Valley on Wednesday in the District 1 Class 3A seventh-place game and need a win to advance to the PIAA playoffs. Upper Moreland They will face Springfield Township in the Class 2A third-place game, as they have already qualified for the PIAA playoffs.

Bucks County boys lacrosse's top playoff performances:
Max Wickersham, La Salle
The junior, who has committed to Johns Hopkins University, led the attack with four goals and two assists as La Salle defeated St. Joseph Prep 11-3 in the Philadelphia Catholic League championship on Thursday, the Explorers' eighth consecutive PCL title.
Paul Van Bastaraar, La Salle
He led the Explorers with six goals and one assist in their win over Lansdale Catholic in the PCL semifinals, then the senior, who will attend the University of Pennsylvania, had four goals and one assist in the championship game win over St. Joe's Prep.
Matt Nelson, La Salle
The Explorers' goaltender made eight saves and shut out St. Joe's in the second half to help them secure the PCL championship game victory.
Stevie Davis, La Salle
He made 16 of 16 faceoff attempts to help LaSalle University to an 11-3 victory over St. Joe's Prep University in the Catholic League finals.
Tyler Vandermark, Pennridge
The Rams' goalie made 23 saves in the face of an onslaught on the Upper Dublin goal, but Pennridge lost 8-7 in overtime in a District 1 Class 3A playback game.
Matt Saylor, Pennridge
Saylor led the offense with four goals, but the Rams ultimately lost to Upper Dublin in the PIAA qualifying playback game.
Next up is La Salle They will compete in the PIAA Class 3A State Championship on Tuesday, June 4, as the top seed in District 12.Pennridge (16-5) The season ended with a playback loss.

Destiny Smith, Souderton
The Souderton junior took home two medals, including the top prize of gold. Smith took first place in the girls triple jump with a time of 40 feet, 4.25 inches, placed fourth in the high jump with a time of 5 feet, 5 inches, and also took 15th place in the long jump with a time of 17 feet, 6.5 inches, capping off a very successful weekend at the state championships.
Gwen Hamilton, Archbishop Wood
The Vikings sophomore won silver in the girls 800 meters with a time of 2:08.15 and finished seventh in the 1,600 meter run.
Nate Furman, CB West
The senior placed seventh in the boys' 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.52.
Luke Coleman, Abington
He placed fourth in the men's 400-meter dash with a time of 48.15 seconds.
Angela Manila, Upper Moreland
In the women's javelin she placed 10th with a score of 120-9.
Mimi Duffy, CB West
The senior won the silver medal in the girls' 400-meter dash, finishing second in a season's best time of 54.62.
Jaedyn Wisely, Neshaminy
She placed 10th in the girls high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 4 inches.
Lorenz Forsman, CB East
The junior ran a season-best time of 48.41 seconds in the boys' 400-meter dash, finishing in seventh place.
Jacob Tannenbaum, CB East
He placed seventh in the men's discus with a throw of 164-0.
Lucas Knappenberger, CB South
He finished sixth in the men's pole vault with a record of 14 feet, 0 inches.
Riley Looney, CB South
The junior finished seventh in the girls' 800-meter run (2:11.80) and eighth in the 1,600-meter run (4:52.12).
Ashley Landis, Pennridge
She placed seventh in the girls' 300-meter hurdles with a time of 44.43 seconds.
Madison Gee, North Penn
The senior earned fourth place (38-7.25) in the girls triple jump.
Gianna Dobson, North Penn
She placed third in the discus with a throw of 129 feet, 1 inch, winning the bronze medal.
Mark Cobbs, North Penn
He finished fifth in the boys' 100 meters with a season-best time of 10.67 seconds.
Tripp Campbell, North Penn
He placed third in the men's high jump with a jump of 6 feet, 7 inches, and won the bronze medal.
Brady Ott, CR North
The senior posted season-best times in both the boys' 1,600-meter run (4:08.95) and the boys' 3,200-meter run (9:03.21) to finish in seventh place.
Lucas Poliseno, CR North
He placed eighth in the boys' 800-meter dash with a time of 1:53.66 and was 14th in the 1,600-meter dash.
Lillian DiCola, Hatboro-Horsham
In the women's 3,200 meter race, she finished in seventh place with a time of 10 minutes 48.62 seconds.
Anthony Conley, Conwell Egan
He took third place in the Class 2A boys long jump (22 feet, 10.5 inches).
Matthew Gorman, Conwell Egan
The senior placed fifth in the Class 2A boys' 3,200-meter run in a season-best time of 9:21.03 and took 12th place in the 1,600-meter run in a season-best time of 4:23.85.
