COLUMBIA, S.C. — Chattanooga's beach volleyball team is back in action this weekend, with the Mox scheduled to participate in the Wheeler Beach Bash hosted by the University of South Carolina on March 2-3.
A total of four games await the Mocs when they arrive in Colombia, split into a maximum of two games each day the team participates. UTC's weekend opens on Saturday, March 2, with the Mox taking on tournament host South Carolina (0-4) at 11 a.m. ET, followed by Charleston at 3 p.m. ET that afternoon. They will play against University (0 wins, 2 losses). Chattanooga then plays Coastal Carolina (2-2), which they played in Jacksonville last weekend, on Sunday, March 3rd at 9:00 a.m. (ET) in a rematch against Coastal Carolina (2-2), and at 3:00 p.m. (ET) against UNCW (2-2). 0) to end the weekend.
The Mox opened the season a week ago at the Jacksonville Invitational, hosted by Jacksonville University. UTC finished 1-3 against the Sunshine State, picking up its only win of the weekend against Palm Beach Atlantic.
