Tucson, Arizona. – Arizona football held its first practice in front of Wildcat supporters on a sunny Saturday at Arizona Stadium.
The Wildcats took to the field inside Arizona Stadium to practice for the first time under new head coach Brent Brennan. In individual games and offense vs. defense, the Cats showed off their teamwork, communication and family atmosphere with smiles.

Arizona will conclude spring training on April 27th with a Red vs. Blue spring game inside Arizona Stadium starting at 6 p.m. The spring games will be available to watch on the Pac-12 Network.

“You get your degree over there, you cross the street, and you get your degree in defensive backplay over here,” Akina says of communication and building defenses. “I value communication, and now they understand the language. I teach from the offensive side of the ball, but now they understand how the defense is constructed. It's starting.” – defense coordinator Duane Akina.
