Michigan State football hasn't had quite the same success in transfer portal acquisitions this offseason compared to last offseason in terms of overall volume. But the Wolverines have focused on quality.
Former Maryland linebacker Jayshawn Barham and Northwestern guard Josh Priebe had steals. Arkansas State kicker Dominik Zvada and Youngstown State wide receiver CJ Charleston may be a bit under the radar, but they are good additions for the Wolverines.
And the latter could be said about one of the prospects expected to join the fray soon.
After missing several targets at cornerback, Michigan is targeting Aamir Hall, who played for the Albany Great Danes, a Division I football championship subdivision program.
According to 247Sports' Matt Zenitz, Hall will join the Maize and Blue as a transfer. He was noted to be a visitor on Wednesday.
Current predictions are that former Albany FCS All-American cornerback Armor Hall will transfer to Michigan State, officials said. @247 Sports.

From the original article about FCS All-Americans:
Hall has five interceptions in addition to 15 pass breakups. The competition to play at Michigan will be more intense with a schedule that includes teams like Texas, USC, Oregon State and Ohio State, but he is capable of getting the job done at the FCS level. That shows his ability to be in the right place and in the right position. Time while reading the offense.
Hall originally played at Richmond and transferred to Albany last season. While his numbers in 2022 weren't all that impressive, his 2021 season was much more similar compared to 2023 with 13 pass breakups, 1 interception, 1 sack, and 3.5 tackles for loss. Ta.
Hall is likely to be in contention, and Michigan has Will Johnson, Jaire Hill, Cody Jones, Jaden McBurroughs and Myles Pollard all competing for a spot in the 2024 cornerback rotation.
