Layup line: Bethel Park defeated Gateway 55-53 in the first round of the repechage to advance to the fifth place game. Nick Brown had 21 points. The Blackhawks lost to Scherer 35-26 in the WPIAL quarterfinals. Bethel Park placed him third in Section 1, averaging about the same as his 59.8 points and giving up about the same as his 59.5 points. The Blackhawks ended the regular season by dropping three games. …. Will Siegel and Jefferson Moorefield-Brown each scored 17 points and Fox Chapel defeated Kiski Area 62-55 in the first round of repechage. The Foxes bounced back from a 63-50 loss to top-seeded Moon in the quarterfinals. Fox Chapel has had a strong run, winning five of its past seven games.

Layup line: Noah Timmons scored 16 points and Isaiah Gonzalez added 14 points for Kiski Area, which lost 62-55 to Gateway. The Cavaliers are averaging 58.0 points per game. …. Gateway dominated Kiski Area in the third round of the season, winning 64-57 and 37-36 in overtime. Alec Dunsmore scored 15 points for Gateway in a 55-53 loss to Bethel Park in the first round of repechage. The losing team's season ends and the top seven teams in the WPIAL advance to the Class 5A PIAA tournament.

Layup line: Riverview hopes to bounce back from Monday's 56-13 loss to Union in the semifinals. The Raiders committed 17 turnovers and couldn't find their groove offensively as the defending WPIAL and PIAA champions took control. Sophomore Isabel Chaparro came off the bench to score five points, while senior Laura Abraham and junior Katerina Tsambis each scored four points. The Raiders are looking to build momentum heading into their first state trip since 2020. … Aquinas Academy, which finished runner-up to Union in Section 1, lost to 3rd St. 65-56 and was denied a WPIAL finals appearance for the third straight year. . Joseph on Monday. Aquinas had won 10 straight against St. Joseph, including overtime in the regular season. Sophomore Ellie Junker led Aquinas with 15 points. Fellow sophomore Tess Duerr added 13 points. Starting junior forward Violet Johnson is battling an injury but played in the game against St. Joseph. … Riverview and Aquinas Academy met in the season-opening Aquinas Tournament in early December, with the Crusaders winning 63-34.
