The former Nebraska quarterback is currently preparing for his first season in the United Football League. Adrian Martinez has reported to Birmingham Stallions training camp.
The United Football League will begin its first season in 2024. The Professional Football League was created by the merger of the XFL and the United States Football League.
This version of the UFL is not affiliated with the United Football League, which ran from 2009 to 2012. The modern UFL consists of eight teams with two divisions: the XFL division and the USFL division.
Martinez played at Nebraska from 2018-2021 and transferred to Kansas State for the 2022 season. In his Husker career, he went 14-24 as a starter at Lincoln University.
In his career, he threw for 9,391 yards, 49 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions. He also ran for 2,847 yards and 44 touchdowns.
He was scheduled to spend last offseason in camp with the Detroit Lions, but was waived during the preseason. A photo gallery of his soccer career can be found below.
