AUGUSTA, Ga. — Augusta's Isaac Fink He was named Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week by D2CIDA on Tuesday. The graduate student guard from Springfield, Minn., averaged an impressive 36 points and 10 rebounds per game in the Vikings' two-game winning streak.
Fink recorded 39 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in the win over Northern State, earning him his ninth career double-double. In the game, he made 6 of 12 3-point shots and made all 7 of his free throw attempts. He followed up with 33 points against the University of Mary. For the week, he shot 55 percent from 3-point range (11-20), 54 percent from the field and 17-of-17 from the free-throw line. He added 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Fink, who ranks sixth on Augustana's all-time scoring list, currently ranks fourth in the NSIC in scoring, sixth in rebounding and seventh in field goal percentage.
