Stanfield increased her win total in the Utah women's final dual meet of the year by winning the 200 fly and 200 IM against BYU on Feb. 9-10. She recorded three first-place finishes in the latter event and two more 200-match winning streaks. Hay also leaves Provo with two wins, winning the 100 and 200 races for the third time in the 2023-24 season, topping the leaderboard in both races. Against the Cougars, Hay ran the 200 back with a time of 1:54.70, second fastest in school history.

Waxman's accomplishments include his four championships in the 1-meter dash, which earned him multiple awards from the Pac-12. Petersen's sophomore performance has garnered attention in four tournaments where he topped the leaderboard in the 1-meter and 3-meter, and he also placed second in the 3-meter at the UCLA Diving Invitational in January. His accomplishments have earned him two Pac-12 awards: Diver of the Month and Diver of the Week, and starting Wednesday he will have a chance to add to that trophy case.
“The Pac-12 is the first stop of 'championship season' for us and is always an exciting tournament for everyone,” said head diving coach Richard Marschner. “Our women's team is the strongest it's ever been and we have a chance to leave the Pac-12 as the top women's team. It's going to be a very difficult task for us, but I couldn't be more confident in leading our team. I've never had one.''
