Liz opened her doors on Broadway. Its shelves are stacked with colorful baseball caps and jerseys from numerous U.S. sports teams, especially in the worlds of basketball and baseball.
Sports fans can purchase items from teams such as the New York Yankees, Chicago Bulls, and Orlando Magic.
Sports team jerseys cost between £90 and £245, while baseball caps sell for between £18 and £36.
Lids offers a wide range of official sports hats and merchandise, including brands such as Nike, New Era, Adidas and Mitchell & Ness. The brand is currently expanding rapidly, with new store openings planned across Europe.
Customers can also customize their baseball caps in-store with their name or logo.
The 1,200 sq ft store on Broadway is the brand's 20th store in the UK. Lids is an international sports retailer selling fan and fashion-oriented hats and apparel.
Ola Karan, assistant manager at the store, said:
“American sportswear and hats are really popular.
“Since we opened, we've had people of all ages come to our stores. Lids hopes to open 10 new stores in the UK within the next three months. The company is really diversifying.
“People come into the store and take pictures of what we sell to send to their friends.
“New York Yankees baseball tops sell well. Everyone knows them.”
Broadway General Manager Ian Ward said: “Bringing six new jobs to the area, this new lease represents a welcome addition to the wealth of brands and stores already on Broadway.”

“We are preparing to announce a number of new leases and have new retail stores ready to open at the center by the end of the year.”
