The local high school ice hockey summer league wrapped up its five-week stretch of exhibition games this week at Southgate Arena with two more games taking place each night Monday through Thursday.
On Tuesday, the New Boston United co-op team in its penultimate summer game fell hard by a final score of 13-2 against Brownstown Woodhaven. A day later, the team from Grosse Ile put a bow on its summer slate with a 6-3 victory over their counterparts from the Riverview-Cabrini combined club.
