Now in his fourth season with the Panthers and his first as senior vice president of hockey operations, Krepelka has played a key role in Florida's front office, which recently led the Panthers to victory in the 2021-22 NHL Presidents Trophy and a trip to the 2023 Stanley Cup Final, ultimately winning hockey's biggest prize this season.
Krepelka becomes the sixth former Princeton men's hockey player to be involved in a Stanley Cup victory as a player, coach or executive since 2007. He joins George Parros '03 (Anaheim as a player in 2007), Kevin Westgarth '07 (Los Angeles as a player in 2012), Jeff Halpern '99 (Tampa Bay as an assistant coach in 2020 and 2021), Brent Fuller '96 (Anaheim as an executive in 2007) and Chris Patrick '98 (Washington as an executive in 2018) as Tigers players to hoist the Lord Stanley.
Krepelka graduated from Princeton University in 1991 and played for Hampton Roads in the ECHL in the 1991-92 and 1992-93 seasons before earning a law degree from Suffolk University. He then spent 20 years as an agent and was co-founder of O Hockey Group. He then joined the Carolina Hurricanes, where he served as vice president of hockey operations from 2018-20.
