Amesbury, Massachusetts – The Boston University women's ice hockey team set a team record with 19 student-athletes being named to the 2023-24 Hockey East All-Academic Team.
The 19 total surpassed the previous record of 17 set three years ago. Student-athletes were required to achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in each of the two semesters they compete in during the 2022-23 season. It marks the 10th consecutive year that at least 10 Terriers have been selected to the Hockey East All-Academic Team. For the past nine seasons, BU has earned at least 14 spots on the team each year.
Senior Catherine Hulem and Lacey Martin As a graduate student, he earned a 3.0 GPA each semester over the past four seasons with the Terriers and earned Honor Scholar status. Nadia Mativy This is his fifth time receiving the award.
Junior Annie Fitzgerald and Liv Hague As a senior, he received Hockey East All-Academic honors three consecutive years. Andy Calderone And Junior Christina Boat, Lili Welke and Luisa Welke It was the second time in their careers that they received this honor. Madison Cardaci and Tamara GiaquintoJunior Emily McDonald, Kylie Roberts and Carrie Shanahan,Sophomore Brooke Disher And new students Ella Huntley, Alex Law, Neely Nicholson and Mari Petersen All were first-time recipients of the award.
