Publix is now the official supermarket of Major League Soccer's Nashville Soccer Club.
Publix Supermarket The company can now boast the title of Official Supermarket of Major League Soccer's Nashville Soccer Club (SC). As part of the partnership, Nashville SC players will appear in Publix stores across the Nashville area.
The grocery store will also open a store at the team's home stadium, Geodis Park, in the venue's North Plaza, which will now be called Publix North Plaza, a space where fans can enjoy opening acts on game days and gather for events outside of home matches.
“We are always looking for opportunities to support the communities in which we operate,” said Nicole Kraus, media relations manager for Publix. “We stand with our fans in supporting the Nashville Soccer Club.”
Publix is already the official supermarket of Major League Soccer clubs Atlanta United FC, Inter Miami CF and Orlando City SC. Additionally, Publix sponsors numerous youth soccer organizations throughout its operating area, including the Tennessee Soccer Association.
