KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – Memorial Day is the time to jump into one of the dozens of public pools open throughout the Kansas City area. Below is a list of pool opening dates.
Kansas City, Missouri
The following pools are open from May 25th to August 18th. Opening hours are 12pm to 7pm daily:
- Budd Park Pool
- Gorman Pool
- Grove Park Pool
- Line Creek Community Center Pool
The Mary Williams Neal Community Center Pool in Kansas City will be open daily from 12pm to 7pm through August 15th.
Kansas City's Bay Water Park and Springs Aquatic Center are open through Labor Day. Hours are noon to 8 pm daily.
Oceans of Fun also opened Memorial Day weekend.

Liberty's main outdoor pool and outdoor fountain pool are open every day until school starts. The pools are open weekends until Labor Day. Hours are 12-8 PM Monday through Saturday and 12-6 PM Sunday.
Gladstone:
Gladstone's outdoor pool will be open until August 19th.

Lenexa:
The following Lenexa pools will be open through August 4th:

Sar-Ko-Par Aquatic Centre will be open from 12pm to 8pm daily until September 2nd.
Olathe:
- Black Bob Bay
- Open daily from 12:30pm to 7pm
- Lake Olathe Beach
- Open Thursday to Sunday
- 11:00am to 6:00pm
- Frontier Pool
- Open daily from 12:30pm to 7pm
- Mill Creek Pool
- Open weekdays from 12:30 to 17:00
- Open on weekends from 12:30 to 19:00
- Oregon Trail Pool
- Mon-Thur 10am-5pm.
- Friday to Sunday 12:30 to 19:00
Overland Park:
The following Overland Park pools are open daily from 12pm to 7pm:
- Stonegate Pool
- Tomahawk Ridge Aquatic Center
- Young's Pool
- Blue Jacket Pool
Prairie Village:
- Prairie Village Pool Complex is open daily from 12pm to 8pm.
Shawnee:
- Thomas A. Soedart Aquatic Centre
- Opens May 30th
- Until August 11th
- Business hours: Weekdays 12:30-20:00
- Open on weekends from 12:30 to 18:00
- Splash Cove at Jim Allen Aquatic Center
- Running until August 11th
- Mon–Sat 10.30am–6pm.

Independence:
- Adventure Oasis Water Park
- Proof of residency is no longer required unless you are charging a resident admission fee
- Open weekdays from 12:00 to 19:00

Admission fees vary from pool to pool and can be found on the city or pool's website. Opening hours may change during summer holiday celebrations or as the pool season draws to a close.
