Virat Kohli has selected four explosive T20 players for his Gully cricket team ahead of the RCB vs CSK match to be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, May 18. RCB's star batsman was challenged to pick his four players from his team for street cricket. The catch with this assignment was that Kohli had to select four players: one wicketkeeper, one bowler, and one batsman. Kohli thought hard and came up with four names who have proven their mettle in the shortest format of the game.
Kohli named AB de Villiers, Jasprit Bumrah, Andre Russell and Rashid Khan in his street cricket team. All four players emerged as stars of their respective IPL franchises. Kohli shares a record-breaking partnership with de Villiers in his RCB and the two always speak highly of each other.
Bumrah is proud that his first wicket in IPL is Kohli. On the other hand, Russell has had a great performance against RCB, winning many times with his explosive batting. Rashid emerged as an IPL legend as the Afghan spinner made the batsmen dance to the tune with his magical spin and his bowling.
Kohli's sensational run in IPL 2024
Kohli is performing brilliantly in the ongoing IPL 2024. The 35-year-old has scored 661 runs in 13 matches for RCB at an average of 66.10 with five fifties and five hundreds. He has batted .155.16 this season, successfully silencing critics who questioned his batting average.

He was instrumental in RCB's rebuild this season, when the franchise witnessed a sudden change in fortunes late in the tournament. Kohli single-handedly carried RCB on his back as the team won just one game in the first eight matches.
After losing six games on the fast-break, RCB went on to win the next five games and qualified for the playoffs. RCB will be hoping to give it their all as they face CSK in a virtual knockout game in Bangalore. If they win by 18 runs or if RCB can chase down the target within 18.1 overs, RCB will be assured of a top-four finish.
