In a proud moment for the Kannadigas and the dairy farmers of Karnataka, the Scottish cricket team on Wednesday unveiled the new ICC T20 World Cup jersey featuring the Nandini logo of the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF).
Nandini's logo is featured on the main arm of the jersey in both English and Kannada. The jersey was unveiled in Edinburgh by members of the squad.
Nandini, a well-known brand in Karnataka, is sponsoring the Scottish and Irish teams in the upcoming T20 World Cup. The tournament begins on June 2nd in the West Indies and the United States.
According to KMF officials, the sponsorship amount is about 2.5 billion rupees per team. In addition, KMF will also launch Nandini Splash, a whey-based energy drink, in the US during the tournament.
