Not only does Rivard own the Canadian Para S10 record, her 4:24.08 is also her S10 world record. She should have no problem qualifying for the Paralympic team in the first final of these trials, but the only question for her is how fast she can swim.

Acevedo almost sealed his ticket to Paris last night with a runner-up finish and a personal best in the 100 back, so we'll see if he can take advantage of this second chance he has.
Updated at 6:13 p.m. ET: Acevedo just posted on social media that he also made a scratch in the 200-meter freestyle final, which he did with less than an hour to go before the final.
Quick update: No 200 free swims tonight. By the time I made my decision, it was about an hour past the scratch deadline, so I apologize for not making the decision sooner and leaving an empty lane. https://t.co/HPPxOpmP28
