In addition to serving as assistant AD, Murray will also oversee the college prep school's swimming program, including coaching the men's and women's swim teams. He also manages the summer camp swim program and acts as the pool operator.
Murray joins Albany Academy from Victor Swim Club, where he has served as program director and CEO since 2019. It was Murray's second stint at Victor in the past five years, as he was initially at the club from 2013 to 2017, before spending two seasons there. with Islanders Aquatics.
Murray's hiring marks a return to his alma mater, as the 1999 graduate of Albany Academy has set multiple school records in the pool.
