Janhvi Kapoor, who stars opposite Rajkummar Rao in Mr & Mrs Mahi, recently admitted that her body reached its limits while preparing for the film. She revealed at a promotional event that the 27-year-old actress suffered multiple injuries while making the film. She added that Janhvi even thought about quitting while she was filming.

According to Pinkvilla, Janhvi spoke candidly about the grueling two-year preparation for 'The Mahi' and praised director Sharan Sharma's commitment to authenticity in every aspect of the production. The actress emphasized that she is dedicated to capturing the cricket accurately, without using half-hearted techniques or her VFX style techniques.
She said: “During Milli, I started training. It took two years. Our director works with utmost purity and honesty. He taught me to become a complete cricketer. He didn't want any kind of cheating, like using VFX or unfinished work. He wanted me to be successful and immerse myself in this world. I was also seriously injured. Both shoulders were dislocated.
When Janhvi Kapoor 'almost gave up'
