The Penns will open their 2024 campaign in St. Francis (Pa.) the weekend after Labor Day weekend for the Red Flash Classic, a round robin tournament to be held on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th. Start. The Quakers will then return home for the annual tournament, hosting Le Moyne, Manhattan and Morgan State on Friday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 14.
Penn's non-conference schedule concludes with a pair of one-shots, with the Quakers taking a short trip to the NIT to take on the Highlanders on Tuesday, Sept. 17, before taking on the University of Rhode Island on Sunday, Sept. 22.
The Ivy League season begins with a new twist as Penn and travel partner Princeton face off in a multi-night home-and-home series. The Quakers will face the Tigers on Friday, September 27th at Old Nassau and the following night at the Palestra.
Princeton's second game is the first of five home games, with Penn State hosting Ivy champion Yale and Brown University on the weekend of October 4th and 5th, and Dartmouth and Harvard the following weekend. Welcome to university. The Quakers will sandwich a trip to the Empire State (October 18-19) and a swing through southern New England (November 1-2) before and after the bye weekend for the next two Ivy weekends. Penn's final home games will be played Friday, Nov. 8 (Columbia) and Saturday, Nov. 9 (Cornell), then the Red and Blue will take a final road trip to Harvard and Dartmouth on Nov. 15 and 16. I do. The top four Ivy teams from the regular season will advance to the Ivy League Tournament, which will be held Nov. 22-23 and will be hosted by the regular season champions.
