A new coach was announced on Tuesday after the PCB announced that Kiwis' mental and skills conditioning coach David Reid will join the England squad later this month and will also work with them at the T20 World Cup. News broke that he had been appointed.
Reid has been working with IPL team Chennai Super Kings since 2021, along with former Kiwi opener Stephen Fleming. He was appointed to Pakistan's coaching staff on Kirsten's recommendation, along with new fielding coach Simon Helmut.
